Re: Germany Vs Brazil 1st Semifinaaaal

Samba boys in 2-1

Re: Germany Vs Brazil 1st Semifinaaaal

Now that is courage. I want sambar to win. But I think rasam has too much punch. While sambar has encountered tough times - under the influence of shani.

Re: Germany Vs Brazil 1st Semifinaaaal

Uncle dont worry Germans will choke once again in Semis and Samba boys will rule the world once again

:lifey:

Re: Germany Vs Brazil 1st Semifinaaaal

with neymar out, who else do brazil have that will fill that number 10 role just as effectively..that will be what decides the outcome of this match. However, hulk has proven to be a machine and with fred coming out of his shell, im gonna give it to brazil extra time. They can no longer rely on neymar to break down the solid german defence. Also, with thaigo silva suspended i dont know how the defence will do wearing down thomas muller specifically

Re: Germany Vs Brazil 1st Semifinaaaal

Germany to win 2-1

Re: Germany Vs Brazil 1st Semifinaaaal

i was fovouring brazil but now its diff situation
germany 2-1

Could Neymar’s absence benefit Brazil against Germany?

Brazil’s 2-1 win over Colombia in the World Cup quarterfinals came at a great cost.
The Brazilians advanced to yet another semifinal on the world’s biggest stage, but it will have to do so without its talisman.
Neymar has been ruled out for the rest of the tournament with a broken vertebra, a huge loss for a team that has been somewhat disjointed in the final third throughout the competition.
But the star’s absence could prove to be a key against Germany in Tuesday’s matchup.

Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has fielded largely the same squad he did during last year’s Confederations Cup. But he did make one pivotal change: Neymar was moved from the left wing into the middle, while Oscar was moved out to the right.
Neymar is the team’s most skilled player and his style of play best resembles the legendary Brazilians who have played the No. 10 role behind the striker in the past, but Oscar might be the team’s most important member.
Oscar is a selfless player who sacrifices a lot of his game for the betterment of the team. He’s adept at pressing opposing midfielders, helping his team immensely in the middle of the pitch. In the attacking phase, Oscar’s movement opens up pockets of space for players like Hulk and Neymar to cut in field for shots on goal. He also has the ability to unlock a defense with clever through balls.
These traits convinced Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho to sell off Juan Mata, who had been voted the club’s player of the year the previous two seasons, and replace him with the 22-year-old playmaker.

Oscar’s style of play in the middle of the field will be a key against the Germans. Joachim Loew’s side has been dominant in the midfield throughout the tournament, and looked even better in that zone with Philipp Lahm pushed out to right-back and Bastian Schweinsteiger taking over as the holding midfielder.
Schweinsteiger is a dangerous player, who is capable of creating dangerous chances — especially when he has time and space to look for passing options. But he can struggle when pressed by the opposition.
Neymar is not a two-way player at this point in his young career and would have likely left Schweinsteiger with plenty of space to ping passes through Brazil’s midfield.
With Oscar harassing him, the Bayern Munich star will be in for an uncomfortable game. The Brazilian is averaging 5.3 tackles per game in the competition, a stunning total for a player in a mostly attacking role.
Chelsea teammate Willian will likely take Oscar’s spot on the right wing, which will give Brazil another active layer in the midfield. This should help Brazil compete in the middle, but the question still remains: Who will score?
Oscar has shown he has a goal or two in him, but Brazil now lacks a player capable of the individual brilliance Neymar provides.
Brazil will likely have to play for set pieces once again, but it should be more prepared to deal with Germany’s biggest strength.

Not just Ozil, also Khedira and Mustafi. But the latter is out of the tourney.

I want a Germany Argentina final and either of them to win. Purely on how they have played. I have never been a Germany or Argentina supporter but I think they deserve it based on play so far. It has not been perfect but much better in comparison.

Dutch played great in the opener but when they can’t play their style, their default backup is an ugly Chelsea like anti football, and i am tired of seeing Robben diving. Brazil was someone I was neutral about but too many decisions going their way and the ugliness that was Brazil Colbis match was too much.

Rooting for Germany in this semi final.

Re: Germany Vs Brazil 1st Semifinaaaal

omg am I the only one supporting brazil

Re: Germany Vs Brazil 1st Semifinaaaal

i hope it will be a great match......

Re: Germany Vs Brazil 1st Semifinaaaal

As much as I want two latin american teams playing in final, I doubt if its gona happen.

Lets see if any Brazilian rises to the occasion.

I'm predicting Germany will win with a margin of 1 goal, most likely 1-0

Re: Germany Vs Brazil 1st Semifinaaaal

Germany will dominate possession as have players to hurt Brazil while having a good defence to deal with any Brazilian attack, so to defy all common sense I am going for a 1-0 Brazilian win :p

Re: Germany Vs Brazil 1st Semifinaaaal

Have to share this .. crazy luv of this game in the area of Lyari, karachi which has certainly produced the most skillful yet wasted soccer players in Pakistan.
