:hehe: We’re not really talking German here, as in full-on conversation. Just finding out who the German speakers on here are and exchanging a few singular sentences in that language.

When it comes to actual conversation, I agree with the OP of that thread. That really isn’t nice and I’ve experienced that a lot when I lived in Dubai. Arabs will talk Arabic with each other even though they know exactly that you don’t understand them.
