Well, German and Dutch do have a lot of similarities. I wouldn't really understand every word of a Dutch conversation, but I think I could at least figure out the context if they speak slowly.

Lol this isn’t german, it’s a dutch word. In german it would be “Gute Nacht”. :smiley:

You're right. I didn't know the Dutch word for it, but since it sounds very similar the meaning would have been obvious.
