German Education policies

Nowadays in Pakistan most of the graduated student who wants to get their higher studies of MAsters, Phd etc. have got one more good deal by getting admission in the German universities which offer education free of cost, but an important requirement is the studies will be in the German language and the applicant must know German for it.
A question arises, why education free, it makes sense any level of education for German citizens make sense that the education is the field which gives more dimensions to thought and a free education will give people option to acquire all fields of life from computer science, natural sciences, applied sciences, politics, arts and all the other fields but why education free for the foeign students also, the answer that comes to my mind is when people will get there in Germany and will study in German they will have to prepare their research papers in German as well, this means research books in German also, remember Germans love their language very much and wants to see everyhting in the German language and wants the extension even to the rest of the world, free education encourages people to read and write in German, it seems Germans will get what they want that is lots of books in German language.
My advice is if Pakistanis offers some benefits for doing thesis in Urdu language, lots and lots of people will participate wholeheartedly to do research in the Urdu language and there will be books in Urdu in the field of computer science.

Let's look at this from another perspective.

Germans offer free education to everyone, fairly I might add, so that they can have highly skilled and qualified professionals working in Germany. They encourage foreigners to study in their country in the hopes that these foreigners will remain in Germany and contribute to the Germany society after their studies are complete.

Since the elimination of the eastern block, thousands of people have fled to what used to be West Germany. They are not there to study or work. Rather, the majority of these individuals from the East, including Yugoslavia, Bosnia, Poland and even Turkey, are on welfare and are basically sucking the Germany economy dry.

So, I personally beleive that the reason why the German government and education system is promoting foreigners from all over the world to go to Germany and study there is in the hopes that these people will stay in Germany and contribute to their society.

Sorry, but your facts & interpretation are not quite correct. Yes it's true, that mostly any level of education in Germany is free. The most german universities are public, founded by the government and tax-payers. The universities are free of cost for both national and international students, I guess the reason behind is that, there are not many international students in the German Unis, so therefor they don't ask for tution fees and ect. from them, as they don't ask it from german students. You are right, knowledge of german language is required, but this is due to the mother tongue of the country. In Spain ppl will lean in spanish & in Italy ppl will learn in italian, so not only germans love their language very much.

Pakistani students who do study in Germany, (here have to say that University standard in Germany and Austria is every high, maybe even higher than in US or UK in some fields) get the best education around and the best of career chances as Germany's economy is on the Top of the world.

Another advantage, almost every professional around the world can speak & write english, but how many know german ?! Having the knowledge of any other language, other than english does your CV good.

International perpective, Urdu does not have such a chance. That is why the whole pakistani education system has gone over to english.
