George Clooney is considering signing up to star in a Bollywood movie in a bid to raise Indian cinema’s profile in the United States. The Oscar winner would love to broaden his acting horizons by appearing in a high-profile musical set in India, after being impressed by recent advances in the genre.
He says, "I’d love to. There are some filmmakers whose films when you see (them) you say, ‘That could be an interesting story to tell.’ I was watching a film the other day and the music was just amazing. It’s become such a huge industry.
“There is a small market in the States as of now, but it will be fun if it catches on because it is such a positive way of looking at filmmaking and I really love that. I truly think it’s fun.”
I think he should stick to hollywood. He's too good of an actor to be in a bollywood movie. He'll probably recognize the storyline anyway because it will be a copy of a hollywood movie.
if he does do a bollywood movie, then he should go for directors that are not the usual stupid bollywood directors. I think he should go for Kukunoor or Ram Gopal Verma.
Please George don’t do that. Please!!! You’re a high-class Actor and you don’t need that kind of sh’t. I’m not stopping you to make movies in and with Bollywood-Actor, but please don’t make yourself a monkey who dances in bollywood-songs. Make a movie without dance-scenes and without music.
Make movies. Only movies with a good Story.
No one desires a Movie with Songs and Dancing-Scenes. A Movie is a Movie when it stays a Movie and doesn’t turn into a Circus.
