means shared histoy before division.. like History of India and Pakistan

Sure. India's history is also Pakistan's history.
Actually, I think Pakistan made a mistake by giving up the name India for itself. It would have rather called itself Muslim India. Because by forsaking this historic name, Pakistan gave up the whole history, culture, language, architecture, food dishes, etc; associated with this name.

I agree with topic. Can divide land. But history is history. Can't be divided. What happened has happened. Can't rewrite it. Or create new history.

But the name India didn't cover all the areas of Pakistan. I think the whole region was known as India during British era.
