^ Says a gentleman with 4 posts here. I am impressed. Kudos! :)
Mate, Sense of humor has nothing to do with how many posts I've put here or with my infancy on this forum. I think applying commonsense is a tad higher than having commonsense. Scroll up and read again, I didn't start the conversation about Shoaib.
You know nothing about me and where I'm coming from, Yet, I'd apologise if you think it was unfair of me to put up an irrelevant post. However, going by the fact that you're impressively senior in this forum, you could have politely told me the norms than throwing around sarcasm.
Aray bhardwaj unkil, aap tau nara*j* ho gayay... My post was a general post to all those who brought Actor in this thread. It was not addressed to you. Just because your post was the last one, doesn't mean I am picking on you. Now aap thandi lassi piyaiN and chill karein....

I'm as cool as ice... You were making me cross by passing a judgement. I think my cerebral cortex is no way directly proportional to the count of insignificant random posts I publish here.
Time will tell if he is good enough. Cant evaluate a coach based on team performance in one tournament (just because we were able to beat aussies and lankans to reach the final)
Geoff Lawson appears to be a cool dude, he has started well or fate has favored him, whatever the reason, watching the boyzz playing as a team was very comforting. Wish him all the best.

I hope this kool dude doesnt become idiot-dude after next 2 test series against SA and India.
^ I hope so too. But throughout the tournament, I noticed how he managed to keep a calm outlook. Specially after the semi final victory when everyone was hugging him and congratulating, he was saying 'one more to go'. I really liked this sense of professionalism in his demeanour. And I hope our cricketers follow his ways of being calm and collective.
His first interview said that his main priority is to create this team mentally tougher and even though effects wont be visible after just a two weeks tournament, signs are ominous (yeah yeah I know there was a final too :) ). After all he has overseen the developments of two of the toughest and most shrewd players cricket world has ever seen (Mark Taylor and Steve Waugh)
Its hard to get excited about new coaches after recalling what happened to Bob Woolmer. However, Faisal, your observations are quite accurate and I just hope that this trend continues. To be honest, I don't really care if Lawson controls everything and if Malik is just his pawn on the field. If that translates into success, and if Malik is willing to accept that role without any qualms, than I have absolutely no problems with it. As long as there are not too many chefs in the kitchen, it usually works out well. Power struggle is usually what rips apart the Pakistani dressing room and we can certainly do without it. It would be ideal if Lawson is the clear cut big boss.
