crappy article. the guy's pissed at geo showing the reality of pakistan and what happens behind closed doors and what college girls and guys discuss between classes in pakistan. he totally refuses to see that intellectuals sit and discuss ways in which to eradicate such things from society and if his daughter saw the show she would see it as a societal issue and know how to deal with it. which is better than getting to know it in snippets through friends and becoming obsessed about it.

well i have read this in alot of places that Geo was funded by bush. He wanted Musharaf to modify our country with such issues. I dont know how much truth is in all this.

Its not going down the cheapy path it was already on that path since the day it started.
For me it had no charm since beginning. Its crappy sound effects, puffery and exaggeration, plus the well known gay Aamir Liaquat Hussain, a fitna big time , were enough to convince me about Geo's real Jewish intentions.
Its basant celebrations and Indian and Pakistani bahoodgi , cry out loud that it is not for the benefit of Pakistan.

I personaaly don't agree with what is suggested about jews hand or etc. on geo Tv or anyone.
But article did raise other good points.
For those who say we must show wrong things on TV so we can discuss...I say why not one put trash on their head and face to complain local govt. or nazim about trash on the street? Got my point?
One does NOT have to popularise bad acts and expect that these acts will disappear from society. This kind of mentality is from greedy business like media people so they can attract more people to watch their media out of curiosity.
Many other programs do need to be improved as well. TV dramas with long scenes, unnecessary english, loud background music, bright light so everyone looks like anglo-saxon origin (despit being quite dark skinned) in Pakistan. Sad drama themes with household politics and teary eyes can make many people heavy-hearted!

Notice the language which is displayed in some programs and commercials.
"Bhabi Bhi To Maan Jaisi Hoti Hai" Purely hindu culture.
News by a team of young girl and man.....the language is indian style urdu.
" to liye chalte Hain hum Aapko Lahore, jahaan Aap dekh sakengay basant!!"
Example is just to show broken sentence spoken backward rather forward, typical of indian urdu which they call hindi.

I love how you people are crying and yet Geo is the biggest channel in Pakistan and expanding to more channels. You guys are just like Republicans, cry about any change that occurs and concoct conspiracies when you can't find facts.

Geo is a devolping channel...it needs time to settle
when ary digital came to our screens it suddenly didnt become popular although there past dramas and shows are much better than the stuff they produce today. I mean..the stuff that is on ary today like....karachi high which was over-rated and makeover. Geo has some class shows but they bring the class down. 'george ka pakistan' was a very good idea but they brough it down. I dont agree with the artical 1 bit. Geo needs to improve it's dramas in order to get popular and it needs get in touch with its target audience,being a pakistani channel it needs to also show some sport or some kind of sport news programme.
