Handful of seasonal anti PTI trolls coming up with blinkered accuses and arguments to put all the blame on Imran because it looks fashionable, but many people actually know or bothered by the fact that PEMRA’s constitution doesn’t allow any direct attack on Army/ISI. Yes that’s the root of all the problem, a set trap for all future trips and falls, and elephant in the room no one wants to look at. Considering PEMRA’s constitution, Geo’s is in legal trouble, whether anyone likes it or not. This is how law works and this is why in developed countries civilised citizen always root for change of law more than anything. Now I’m sure you’ll hear the usual numbo jumbo that it was also Imran who penned that constitution, but I guess that’s a price people had to pay for getting a media freedom from a dictator.
People who are whining about Imran “creating pressure” (shock, horror. Treason! Put that yahoodi playboy in the jail because Pakistan is democracy) don’t realise that failure of his haters to stop obsessing about him have always majorly contributed towards polarizing his views. Despite him boycotting Geo, his name and image, undoubtedly got the maximum coverage by Geo. LOL They helped advertise Imran’s anti Geo stance on their own channel.
People just cannot ignore him, no matter how much they confess their hatred for him, and that’s what makes them really frustrated and bitter. The fact that you can’t stand the guy yet you can’t stop talking about him. It must be a terribly torturous state to be in.
