In fact, Hotbird 4's footprint also reaches northern Pakistan (Punjab, NWFP, Kashmir). This is the satellite series Hotbird 1,2,3,4,5,6 which has the most channels.

Yeah, I know I have 'em over there. Is hotbird 6 a new addition?
gizzy the “OU ch 8” is GEO TV, i can confirm that it is GEO Tv, coz i set up on this freq on 3 different setup boxes and it shows the name this OU ch 8 but it is GEO…
Thank faisal
I had figured that out myself. Actually, I was expecting it to show the name GEO in the list, apparantly they switched the freqeuncy, because the old frequency where Geo used to be is now an Arabic channel. And so I assume ke this “Ou ch8” used to be some channel on this frequency.
sallama, you just have to add the give frequency and symbol rate in the MENU of your sat receiver using the manual installation. And then do a search. But make sure you have first moved the Satellite dish towards Hotbird :) Or else it will find nothing!
Can someone corfirm if GEO TV can still be received on the above frequency? The screen is dark since this morning!
I wonder if it has gone behind a decoder from today?? :-(

Pakistan's most popular news and entertainment satellite channel Geo TV is launching on Sky within days. The channel has officially gone live showing real time testing direct from Pakistan. Geo TV tests can be found at 11.390 (V) under the label "53520".
They didn't mention above what Satellite it is. But my own findings revealed that it is on Eurobird 28.5E!
