GEO SUPER A new sports channel has been launched in Pakistan. I am all for progress in Pakistan but do we have enough sports material to fill 24 hours of sports broadcasting.

I dont know why you posted this in the religion forum, but there are plenty of sports enthusiasts in Pakistan who would love to have a dedicated channel for international sports , and would love to dig in old archives.

Yes you are right, I also thought of this. They can also show previous cricket & hockey glories.

We have a lottttttt of stuff to show. You just have to think out of the box, although there is a lot that you can find in the box as well.

Is it in UK? My husband said it starts today but we dont know what channel. Please help.

The channel will also be showing live matches like Champions Trophy, homes series against Windies, World Cup etc.

Ofcourse it won't just be about cricket. Many Pakistanis follow the Wimbledon, Soccer World Cup, Squash, WWF, even baseball, boxing and motor racing + there are some great hockey matches from the 70s and 80s

There are no immediate plans for Geo super to broadcast in the UK but plans for the future are not ruled out.
