No media outlet should be shut down & if you support Geo's shut down today tomorrow you favorite media out can also be shut down.

Don't have any favourite media outlet. Besides geo is not a media channel just a propaganda house.

We can say the same about other channels as well. In the current situation all of them played a very biased and negative role. GEO favouring the govt while ARY and SAMA favouring IK. They became propaganda channels.

How is that different from ARYSAMMA? They are all bidding on different horses. Let them compete in market place of ideas and if public reject them they will die natural death.

The dilemma geo faces is that the government which it supported during the past year and a bit hasn't done anything to save them.

Thats true, but GEO has huge market share with half of dozen channels. This rona dona is all bs (look at me I'm victim) & they set this trend for race to the bottom. They were face of Taliban, but I still won't support the shut down.

As long as they are not breaking any laws, they should be allowed to operate.

And these parliamentarians talking big about democracy, sanctity of the parliament, saving the system, etc. have no guts to speak out.

Don't think it is true but Geo is trying to portray itself as a victim to get sympathy. Geo is available to most of the population of Pakistan.

But Geo is available globally, are they not making money at all from those operations? I doubt on this 'shutdown' any day. Besides, they should "thank" Nawaz Sharif for digging their grave towards the end of Ch Nisar speech in parliament.
