I would like to suggest for somebody to start a facebook page (I know proto has a sticky on classifieds) to sell, buy, trade or rent high fashion or designer dresses that : (below are some of the reasons)
- No longer fit
- Wrong Size
- The style or color of the dress is not flattering on your body
- don’t want to repeat the dress again in your circle
- Its too heavy to wear to the parties in your circle. You made it for a special occasion..
Why let that dress take up valuable space in your closet. Why not recoup your losses and move on?
I started a facebook group for this purpose…
I don’t think i will have alot of time to devote so I welcome somebody else to start another group that they keep current. Basically you should post pics and deal directly with somebody who wants what you no longer can use.
Couple of things are necessary though:
Dress should be :
- excellent condition
- Trendy or in fashion
- At least half of what you paid for it
- “high fashion” or stylish
- Desi fashion preferably…
Again- I started one of the sake of getting the ball rolling for gals outside of Pakistan. I urge you to start one that you can devote a little more time than I can…I think this could be a very good idea.
