My name is Tayyaba and i am currently working as a fashion designer for an international NGO based in Muzaffarabad (AJK) and our head office in Islamabad. i am working with Kashmiri rural women located far away in the villages of Azad Kashmir. These rural women living on the mountain tops have extra ordinary skills that include traditional embroidery and stitching. i am guiding them to create useful products according to the market demand which range from hand bags, mobile covers, Kurtis, shirts, gents kurtas, handicrafts, jewelry, heavily embroided dresses etc…
I am having my life time experience working with these women because their work is amazing. i am creating the sample products these days and selling them locally and through social network to get the feed back and soon i plan to bring a large collection in a market with a proper brand plat form.
This work is million times different form the products sold in the market in the name of kahmiri work, which is generally a fake statement by the sellers and brands. the original Kashmiri work is much different then that.
If u guys are interested in any of the product mentioned above, just let me know as u will get it on a much cheaper price then the brands are selling in a market, which is apparently does not meet the quality of work, which these women are actually producing.
