The bottom line is this, who would you rather be captured by, the US, or the Iraqi's? Think about it for a while and if you are honest, you may have a little epiphany.

Depends which side of the fence you are.. See if the following makes sense....
[A hypothetical scenario]..
I hate my govt. and I would love to see our dictator rot in hell but when our motherland is threatened I will put my differences aside.
Can't you hear what Iraqi people are saying?
In this conflict in which US is the clear aggressor the out come will be decided by Iraqi people and so far they have chosen well.
P.S: Seems like Iraqis are not unhappy with their brutal savage barbarian dictator as US would like you to believe.

If this board is representative, then it's obvious that the Muslim world as a whole doesn't give a crap about this brutal savage barbarian dicatator or the Iraqi people that have suffered under him. It doesn't seem to matter that Iraq shoots POWs in the head; or uses civilians as shields in battle; or dresses up as civilians which puts the Iraqis in danger; or that they pretend to surrender only to ambush, which puts the smart ones that do want to surrender in danger; or that they use hospitals as armed fortresses or any number of other grotesque violatations. Iraq is part of the ummah so they are righteous. The US is the most powerful country in the history of the world so they must be brought down by our righteous values - exemplified by Hussein or any of the other brutal Muslim governments that suppress their people around the globe. That's ok. They are a righteous part of the ummah.
Young Hamad has every reason to despise Saddam Hussein, having lost his father and uncles to the Iraqi regime, and having been forced to seek exile in Jordan for fear of losing his own life. But, like thousands of others, he has chosen to return to his homeland to fight for Saddam. He tells Paul Belden why.
Go show your love to people of Tibet or NK and I can list quite a few more, those camel jokeys don’t want you there.

You must be so proud to come from the bastion of democracy and justice. I am so envious that you come from a land with such democratic and legal traditions, where there is justice and freedom, with respect for all. Perhaps if I had, I could be as self-righteous and sanctimonious in my view of the world.

Don't beat around the bush, why are you taking out of the context. your selective rebuttal speaks volume... Can't you read above and make sense of it.. The people of Iraq don't want your version of freedom get this through your skull. Go free the people of Tibet or NK they are crying for it.

And in the meantime I suggest you spend just 1% of your time bitching and moaning about the Muslim governments around the world that are suprresing their people and denying them their rights. They could use an advocate. Instead you spend 100% of your time blasting the US whose human rights record and any other measurment of justice you want to use far exceeds that of any of the aforementioned 3rd world countries.

Well maybe he will just kill their family into supporting him.
Or?
Maybe he is an angel?
Or maybe Aljezerra calls us the Occupiers.
My thinking is..if Iraq want to live under a man who has murdered fellow citizens then go ahead. Not worth kidz dying over it, especially if they were mislead.

You yanks are so nice my my now you have seen the hospitality of Iraqi people. Its time you move on and free people of NK once you are done with Kim there is another waiting for you. Trust me there is no shortage just be ready.
The Red Cross called those pictures a violation of the Geneva Convention as well, as I am sure those gory pictures of decimated Iraqi soldiers at Mutla ridge were (in 1991). American hypocrisy is astounding if not laughable.

Yeah..they look really dead. Look like they have bullets in their heads??
Kinda look like they were being interrogated? And Abused.

Got me there. I guess I am an almost-hawk. But not quite.
Baiting works.
And I'm sorry. I really believed the Iraqi's would be relieved.

AAG your intentions are good but quite opposite from those terrorist in the white house. There is no need to librate Iraq nor the Iraqis have asked for when they do we will be more then happy to join you and support you until then the way out is shown..
Thanks for the attempt anyway no matter how warped it was.

Easy for you to say.
But do?
Following advice to pack up and leave is questionable at most. Hard at heart.
Easy to say. Hard to do.
[/QUOTE]
You see its quite easy, the way you came in the same way you go out... Reminds me of Ho Chi Minh he also said teh same "LEAVE" while Kim is saying "TRY"
How very strange those who invite you you don't want to know them and those who don't want you ...... Oh well
