If you had the ability to create a child of your own…what features would you give him and her?..im not discussing the moral implications…thats another discussion…im just curious being the sociologist what do people see the ideal baby looking like…Bare in mind you can pick race, colour, features, build, anything you like…
I might as well start…
For a boy i would like them to have curly black hair…caramel skin…huge green/hazel eyes with big lips and a pointy nose and bushy eyebrows…
For a girl i would like them to have brown or black curly hair, caramel skin, hige grren/hazel eyes with big lips, tiny nose and tiny eyebrows…
I wouldnt want to mess with what I myself together with my husband create together. What a miraculous thing it is. If you want to "engineer" a child, you're missing the point of it all I think.
Ok im not actually suggesting it as a good idea but naturally our ideal will come out in what we state...our preferences for what we would want in an engineered baby tend to be our reflection of what we see as the most attractive features...
Some how i would think a lot of Pakistanis would state they want a fair skinned child...i dont see many people asking for a dark child especially ikf they are dark themsleves...
For instance a black girl at my workplace who has a bit of inferiority complex clearly got some stick from some guy cos her boyfriend is white...her reply was 'well atleast my kid will be good looking'...which obviously suggests that a fully black baby isnt her ideal...it may show how your satisfied you are with yourslef ans show what you feel to be superior to other things...
Im not asking one to address the emotional aspect...if to put it better if you just had to engineer a baby...it doesnt have to be yours...what would you make it look like?...
I would want my daughter to look like my real mother, cuz she's gorgeous... so light hair, olive complexion, and blue eyes... and my son to have a darkish complexion like my dad, light brown eyes, and curlyhair... but they both should have my features remixed :)
