I really like this! It's clean, fresh and light.

So I wonder if that means churidars and frocks/longer shirts are ok for the summer and not everything needs to be wide legged?

i think its a case of anything goes. Churidaars always look really nice, with the dresses i'm not a huge fan of the really wide leg look as they doesnt look quite right with flats ( i dont tend to wear high heels) but here in the UK people wear whatever they like from short shirts and patialas (oh yes, u still see em!) and i've just seen someone at the supermarket in white bell bottoms circa 1999 (yucccck)
