I was having this chat with this nice aussie bloke who was a christian with a jewish background about religion and all.. he seemed very keen in learning about Islam.. so i tried to answer all the questions he fired at me as best as i could and to my knowledge … although there were some questions i wasnt quite sure of.. but i gave him a sorta justified answer, i would just need to know wat u guys have to say about these questions.. there were a fair few.. i cant remember rite now all of em :konfused: neways…

Do muslims believe that israel should have never been created? and jews never to have been existed?

If god is all merciful .. why would muslims announce a death penalty to those offending the Prophet Mohd :saw: ? why cant they just ask Allah to forgive and guide that person?

Because of my name (Shane Israel) would i be a subject of taunt or any sort of mistreatment if i go to Dubai? saudi? or pakistan..

When did Muslims split into sunnis and shiats and why?

and ofcourse the always asked question :vivo: men will get 70 hoors.. what will women get …

We, as muslims and not puppet muslim govts., will accept israel as long as it does not forcefully take over Jerusalem from the majority of Palistinians living there.

Merciful is a term commonly misunderstood and misrepresented… Blesphemy against the Prophet:saw: is considered a crime in Islamic laws and as any other crime, there is a defined punishment for that. Would you let a criminal even as naive as a pickpocket roam around on the street making chaos and ask the all merciful God to forgive him and guide, let alone a rapist, or a murderer? I think it will be a mercy of God on the humanity if such criminals are punished. Can please, USA pardon all the people they consider terrorists and let God deal with them :hehe:?

Only ignnorants will taunt a name like that when Quran says that Isreal is the name of the most respected Prophet, Yaqoob (Jackob) :as: … I’m sure ridiculing a name Isreal, one could easily get indulged in a sin.

First of all, the quantity of hoors is defined in ahaadeeth and not in Quran and of course the number mentioned in the question is incorrect… it is 72 … secondly as for the question, Women will get the authority on those hoors and she will be made a ruler on them… Prophet:saw: said and it is a hadeeth from Bukhari and the interpretation of which is When a man will enter paradise, he will see a person so beautiful with lights emerging from all over, that man will prostrate in front of that person thinking that he is seeing none other than God. The person will ask, why are you prostrating (making sajdah) to me. The man will answer, Oh my Lord, I make sajdah only unto you. Upon which that person will reply: I am but your wife from the previous life.
