What are your predictions for the next general elections ? I think the present assemblies will dissolve in July 2023 after the budget, and all parties will go into full election mode. Nawaz Sharif is also expected to return in July 2023.
I do not think Mariam Nawaz is qualified to be the PM, she has never been even a member of national or provincial assembly let alone sat on any parliamentary committee to learn about actual workings of the government. No doubt she is the biggest crowd-puller in PML-N after Nawaz Sharif, but lacks experience of governance. I do not think she is even qualified to be CM of Punjab due to her lack of experience. Also, the senior leaders in PML-N will not accept her as PM. But since she has to be groomed to be a PM in the future so she could be made CM of Punjab if PML-N wins.
My guess is that present assemblies will be dissolved close to their expiry date (Aug 13) and elections will be held in late Oct/early Nov.
By that time most of PTI would be dispersed and IK disqualified and will not be major factor in the elections. Turnout will be low.
PDM parties will win and come back in power with a 5 year mandate. That will enable them to take tough decisions that can impose temporary hardships but will eventually turn the economy around.
This is like asking who will win the circus If you must ask, Army will win it again. Civilian govt is just their peons. I don’t think IK will be allowed to run, he tried his conciliatory tone with US and Munir and they said no dice. His best hope is if they don’t jail him and let him go in exile.
Nobody including IK should be disqualified. And Army should not intervene.
PTI is limited now but things can change.
For once, lets have a free and fair elections. Whoever wins, should be allowed to make govt.
However, my fear is less from army, its more from others. Lately even Molana fazlur rehman has proved he can shutdown the country. So it looks like no matter what these results wont be admissible to everyone.

That's pre poll rigging. Any gov that comes into power after these developments will be a "selected one". This will pose serious threats to the integrity n unity of the country. Army did not learn anything from sheikh mujeeb episode.

Yes we love our army. As our army is now at par with Indian army having equal deterrent. God bless Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. :). It looks Mariam Vs Bilawal in Nov elections and I prefer Mariam though I am supporter of PPP unless PPP bring forward more senior person like Aitezaz Ahsan, Raza Rabbani, Qamar Zaman Kaira and from Sindh Sherry Rahman, Dr. Nafeesa Shah, any one of them Don’t worry Pakistan will remain on earth as long India is there.
Hung parliament. Total vote 70% split between PPP and N-League, Establishment Party and independents around 20%, rest with PTI, MQM, JI.
Government will depend on who ever gives best deal to the army/establishment. My hunch is its Zardari's turn this time in Federal with alliance with Establishement people. Punjab under N-League.

He should be apologized for wrongfully convicted and a hero's welcome is to be afforded to him upon his return, like Ameer Ul Momineen. Else no elections are to be held.

I think there will be elections as per announcement of pml(n) leader. The only problem is the elections will be minus Imran Khan as it appears from the events occurring in Pakistan. More than 150 FIRs have been cut against him, only one is enough to disqualify him.
There will be election soon..within the year...otherwise jahangir tareen party and all the 'press conferences' would not be happening so quickly. All that movement/commotion is because elections are coming..........
The defacto PMLN leader is Maryam Nawaz at the moment. She is the one who wants the level playing field for her pops. The judiciary or whatever is left of it is on vacation and Bandial is going to get busy with meet and greet and having his farewell dinners till the PMLN sympathizer Qazi Faiz Eesa becomes the new CJP. By this time, President Arif Alvi will have also retired (possibly replaced by Fazl ur Rehman). With all this happening and default on the horizon (even Bloomberg warned), the elections could be postponed till 2024.
According to Hamid Mir, establishment has already decided Shahbaz Sharif will be next PM of Pakistan. I thought it was Mariam Nawaz. Now it appears that about 90% probability that SS will be Pakistan's next PM with the approval of Zardari and seat adjustments. :)
I can guarantee that it will be corrupt sellout chor, IK/Bushra team is certified chors, so are rest of them and so is almost everyone in establishment and military, so why lose sleep over which chor? With Malik scandal IK is unmasked already. IK is a chor who has delusions
of being a Khalif.
Problem is that IK has delusion that relatively he is honest among whole above lot. To some extent it is also the truth. The cult he created after winning world cricket cup 1992 mostly comprised of beautiful women, (once Indian actress Rekha also wanted to marry him) believe him to be as Yousaf e Sani, sent by God himself.
He is very dangerous for Pakistan as he is a dumb narcissist, Pakistan is a very poor country which needs support and he antagonizes countries that can help Pakistan
