If you were asking me that, I purchased the tests from genebase, as I stated before.
According to them, my paternal haplogroup is J2 subclade a1b, and my maternal haplogroup is H. Every time I check the website though, they add more and more detail to the results, and it ends up confusing me more. Both my parents are from the Kashmir valley, but neither J2 or H are found anywhere in the sub-continent. J2 is a Mediterranean/levant/Persian haplogroup, and H is a Western European haplogroup.
I know that a lot of Persians and Turks etc came into the valley from the 13th century onwards, but my mum says she is of KP lineage. So after wasting a lot of time trying to make sense out of it but failing, I gave up
