The importance of a woman being in shape and attractive is plastered all over the media and banged into our heads day in and day out. Women have to be slim, trim, curvy, shapely, what have you. Women of course resent this and rightly so. They are more than their mere body image.

But the question arises how many women would marry a stereotypical “Middle Eastern” man. Meaning fat, balding and hairy?

I have had this discussion couple of times with my gym friends who are always complaining that their rishtas get rejected just because they are fat. I always try and make them understand that they shouldnt hold this against those people who reject them based on their being fat cuz its their preference and everyone has a right to it. Just like i wouldnt want to marry a fat guy, why would i expect the other to marry me if i am fat?

I don't know why people have such expectations from others which they theirself can't do. Imagine a fat girl/boy wanting to marry a fit guy/girl but if they get rejected for being fat its unfair. Like Come'on give me a break!

So in your case being bald and hairy is not an issue. The fact that he is fat is one? Is one more acceptable than the other or is the triple play just unacceptable unless you are Danny Devito"?

Is he rich? No clue. But lets do it this way. What would the answer be if he was rich and what if he wasn't?

Well each to their own.

He can be the richest man ever but if i dont find him attractive, i wont be marrying him. It's as simple as that. For some people money is all that matters but atleast not to me.

Not trying to put anyone down as what may be attractiv to you may be ugly to me and vice versa.

I like guys that are built bigger anyway so I dont care much about the fat thing.

If someone rejected me because they thought I was too fat, I wouldnt mind at all. Its one-less idiot in my life and that cannot be a bad thing.

if he's a lawyer/doctor/engineer, then he's going to get so much booty he won't know what to do with it. (in terms of rishtas ofcourse. and maybe some gold diggers)

lol... my fiance is supperrrrrrrrrr hairryyyyyy!!!! And is balding. he isnt FAT but his stomach sticks out... heheh sorta like a bear belly. He is 5 years older than me and has fights with me about getting me my own house...
I would still marry him because looks fade away... hahaha i m prolly still young and dumb for thinking this way... but its the personality tht matters most to me :)

I'm sure most average Midle Eastern lads and even most men are on the skinny side.

Besides I've always had the opposite view to the common western notion of fat or chubby meaning kind.

In fact I consider fat to be a sign of not only wealth but greed and no man ever got much from excessive greed except a horrid death... or so I believe. :D

You would be very unlucky to end up with a fat Middle Easterner becuase they are a very small number indeed.
