We did but then decided against it.. we now intend to donate it though!

Reason: while doing our research we found out that not ALL cord blood can be used when the time comes..in fact I once read that about 50% of cord blood cant be used for transplantation.. it may very well be used for research purposes but not treatment.. it has to meet very certain requirements to be stored for transplantation.. if we did a private banking, we will be just paying not knowing if it's even useful for us or anyone for that matter.. donating may mean, it can save someone's life or they can just throw it away if it doesn't meet the eligibility!!

Anyway, we will donate it instead of wasting it but no longer plan to bank it for our family.

I just saw that crib set two days ago at the store I got the diaper bag from and it is not pretty irl :/

I love the color and print but for my own room and not the nursery!!!
