Gender has anything to do with being more or less sinful?

i have this question for a while now and dont know which section to post it under.. but here goes under religion section. Move if its not appropriate here..

I’ve always wondered, does being guy or girl has anything to do with being more or less sinful? I sometime wish if I was a girl, I would have been saved with so many minor and major sins.

Think about it for a minute, if you’re a guy… you’re into this worldly pleasures so much that u forget about good deeds. ( obviously im generalizing here but still )..

Girls when in their periods are allowed to skip Namaz and are not required to read Qu’ran. Also, typical desi type girls are more of house wives and taking care of their house/kids etc.. and rarely work after marriage.. ( not saying all are housewives, but just for argument sake ).. whereas, guys on other hand have to go out for work etc, get to see more of whats going on in the world and around them.. and hence ‘sometimes’ gets engaged in wrong doings.. Also, girls when reached in their early 20’s start getting engaged/married.. hence lowering the opportunity of having sex before marriage with some non-mehram guy.. Guy on other hand generally dont marry until they’ve completed their education..and the more they delay their marriage, the higher the chances of having sex before marriage… (again, not always).

sigh got so many other points as well, but i guess u guys got what im saying here.. point being.. does gender play any role in one being more or less sinful?.. and will God treat all human beings regardless of their gender , equally ? If equally, how can He do that , given all the points above.. ?

Dont know if im making much sense here but would seriously like to have some insight according to Islamic teaching on this issue. Thanks.

Re: Gender has anything to do with being more or less sinful?

not inherently

its all circumstantial to me... but its best to bear in mind that everyone has tests - no matter what the condition/circumstance.

Ya, everyone has tests and trust me, girls have some tests that men can not even imagine. Allah doesnt look at if you are a girl or a guy, He looks at your deeds and its according to that that we will all be held accountable, regardless of our gender. Gender is not something we can control, its not something we had a say in, so how can we be held accountable for that. Its our actions that we can control, so thats our responsibility. Allah is Most Just and would never wrong any of us in any way. Whats important to remember is that Allah does not put a greater burden on us than we can bear --He says this in the Quran and as Muslims we should have 100% full certainty that whatever Allah says is the truth. So this promise of Allah's should comfort us and help us through any difficulty and challenges. Also if you feel you have to withstand greater temptation than someone else due to your particular situation, then also remember that inshallah your reward will also be greater. And the Help of Allah is always near ..with His Help even the most difficult situations become easy, so just trust in Him, rely on Him and turn to Him, inshallah He will help you through the most challenging tests and reward you in the best way
