it is kinda hard to say if a newborn baby is boy or girl. unless your dreams have no diapers hmm. just a thought.

Even without diapers, there can be other clues such as the name or color of clothing. Sometimes in dreams, we just know the identity of the person with us even if we don’t see their face or hear their voice.

or you might think you know but it could just be a cat. like last night i had a dream about a motorcycle which later turned into a tricycle. you never know with dreams..

With my last pregnancy my sister dreamt I was going to have TWIN girls, I had a boy and only one of them.

I dreamt of both boy and girl at different times. So I doubt it was foretold.

during my pregnancy..couple of days ago..i dreamt of a baby girl…n thats what ill be having too inshallah:)

My gender revealing dreams have been true as well. For myself I dream of my baby girl even before conception. I had a very strong feeling my first born would be a girl. I also had dreams about a few cousins and I am spot on everytime.

I guess it seems weird that I would start a thread in this forum since I am neither married nor have kids. But the thread was inspired by Nnabid’s blog.

How many of you, either before your pregnancy or during it, had a dream/s about the gender of your child? Did your dream end up coming true or was it the opposite of what you dreamt?

Or did a family member have a dream about your child’s gender that ended up coming true?

Whenever I see a dream where I have a child, it’s usually been a boy…although I’m more partial to girls.

Lol RV: In my original dream the sonographer asked if we wanted to know the sex, we said yes, and she said - it’s a boy! I started crying in the dream (out of happiness) Now read my latest blog and see what happened in real life: the EXACT OPPOSITE! Lol!

Actually, I later had another dream that it was a girl, and I told my MIL who started crying (out of sadness… LOL!)

And then had a THIRD dream that it was a boy - but this time I could feel him in my tummy. I was showing my husband: “this is the head, these are the legs, and this pointy thing here means it’s a boy!” Lol!

So yeah, my dreams were all wrong

^LOL, Nnabid. After reading your blog entry I was wondering if you’d share your experience in this thread. It’s kinda sad and funny at the same time that your MIL should start crying when it’s only ur first child. Hopefully they were tears of joy and if not, then hopefully she’ll forget all about it when she holds her grandchild.

May allah swt give ur MiL hidayat, crying at the news of a babygirl, when in real she should in fact be overjoyed, daughters are really a blessing, so are sons.

^^ she only cried in my dream - she was happy in real life. But I still think she would have been happier with a boy, because of the whole thing she says about how her nassl will start from my kids, not her daughter’s kids
