Gender balance

Life 1 = women’s territory that men post in because:

A. They are really bored
B. They have nothing better to do
C. They actually enjoy the forum.

However the question is where can one go on GS to get the male perspective? Frankly I bet there are some guys out there on the internet who want some advice on a family related issue that won’t get bombaraded by our resident feminists out on character assassination patrols.

Where does one go on GS for that?

As it is not monday I can’t post a spicey thread…so you will have to deal with this.

Re: Gender balance

:hmmm: I agree with what you are saying I noted that too. But what can one do . May be all those men should post on askmen.com.

Re: Gender balance

And Cadet that is one horrible pun....which I can make much much worse. :D

Mirch the solution is simple. Start a new forum right next to this one for men. You and Saieen can moderate it. It would provide men a "safe area" away from Pakistani feminists out to eradicate the male gender.

Re: Gender balance

Men should be able to post right here and women should learn to be accepting and sensitive to their issues.

I think generally, be it male or female, we find that if someone starts a thread about an issue or stance that is so radically different from our own views, we tend to get defensive of our position. It is, after all, threatening our social order and it is a very human reaction.

On the other hand, if men want to have an equal footing on this forum they must create a supportive environment of their own. If a woman starts a thread about her abusive husband, we all come scrambling to her aid. However, if a man posts about his dislike of monogamy, the posts from men are few and far in between and mostly without substance.

If men want this to be a supportive environment, they've got to be the ones to create it.

That is a charged statement which is just as negative as the ones made by the "feminist" you so vehemently abhor.

CM … are u male or female :hmmm:

It is not so simple.
How can you keep the feminists out of that forum ? :hmmm: There is no mechanism for that. :bummer:

That reminds me of a movie I watched where only one male was left in the world and some feminists were out there to get him and others wanted to save him.
I forgot the name of that movie. Did you watch that ?

Re: Gender balance

^:hehe:..I can imagine that…

Re: Gender balance

watch aurat raaj...old movie by rangeela....very funny.

Why not?

Re: Gender balance

Look I am a troll, or rather a partial troll. I like adding one or two sentences that cause turmoil. Its far better than reading retarded threads about which province has men with less facial hair or other retarded concepts. And come on, I highly doubt I am the only one that sees a general bias amongst the posters here.

somehowcollide - No man goes to another man for emotional comfort unless he is a bit queer. Women are generally our emotional comfort "go to" people. I hardly think any guy here will say "Hey guys I am feeling down, comfort me emotionally". The natural reaction would be to inform him that we are heading going out on the town and if he really needs it a strip club.

Mirch - its rather easy to have women leave. Men are by nature perverted. Some hide it well some don't. I hardly think there is a guy here on these forums, that doesn't read a sentence and twists it.

And I have not seen either one of those movies. But if you find the name do let me know I bet I would get a good chuckle out of it. aurat raaj...hmmm....need to get that one.

However I shall do the dirty deed and start off with more masculine orientated threads. I welcome all attempts at character assassination.

Re: Gender balance

"Men are naturally perverted but some are more sincere then others" quoting CM above.

We all have a libido, you don't necessarily have to misinterpret this as perversion. Yes the survival of the human race depends upon it so don’t dismiss it likely. Be proud of your manly traits.

CM, I am surprised at your misandry (anti-male comments), perhaps you’re a feminist in disguise?

should introduce a new forum to GS called life and relationships for men :hmmm:

it could help ..those who need it ..

If that is the case, then what is the need to start a new forum for men anyway? We could link you all to virtual strippers instead...

Glad you admitted that you basically come on to stir up controversy. You're an instigator, but at least you can admit it.
