Not agruging or commenting on his personality 
as he is dead
He was NOT a leader 
He was a circumstantial BOSS of the country for a period of history
He might have done a few good deeds - But mostly the country suffered
The militants and the extremists groups came into existance during his term

Ziaul Haq was the man...the only leader capable of keeping two overwhellmingly stronger enemies at bay simulataneously on two fronts...Had Bhattu been in charge of Pakistan from 77 to 88, we would have seen the balkanization of Pakistan and he would have finished what he started with the dismemberment of East Pakistan...
