Gen. Fazle Haq Marhoom - the biggest lobbyist for FATA development

Pakistan was blessed with a visionary Pushtoon leader Gen. Fazle Haq. You all may disagree with him as a person, but he was the best and brightest son of soil. He worked tirelessly to improve infrastructure in FATA area. He worked with his brother chairman of WAPDA Gen. Fazle Razaq to bring light to so many tribal homes. Wish there were more generals and leaders like him who could work on improving roads, gas, and electricity for people of rural areas throughout Pakistan.

A great personality.

Re: Gen. Fazle Haq Marhoom - the biggest lobbyist for FATA development

^^ Yes. A true Pushtoon. That is why Kabuli Kommies hated him.

These Kommies want to see Kohat, Bannu, and Peshawar burn just like their Kommie Jannat of Kabul, Jalalabad, and Kandhar.

Gen. Fazle Haq on the other hand was a pragmatic, forward looking, and fiercely anti-Kommie.

Re: Gen. Fazle Haq Marhoom - the biggest lobbyist for FATA development

One has to be a gen under a dictatorship and from the ethnic area to get things done for that area.

Re: Gen. Fazle Haq Marhoom - the biggest lobbyist for FATA development

This is nothing but a $tupid effort to take away credit from a great Pushtoon leader and a governor.

Re: Gen. Fazle Haq Marhoom - the biggest lobbyist for FATA development

Great job proving me wrong

Re: Gen. Fazle Haq Marhoom - the biggest lobbyist for FATA development

^^ Why you have to be proven wrong? Few of your posts are really cool. It is just your negative stance on all things Punjabi, or military that make things go off kilter.

As I said in another thread, people like to be ruled by their peers.

Most of the Pakistanis are of Marshal (military) origins, so they like military style rulers.

Most of the Bharatis are Banyas and Munshi (business people), so they like Munshi-type leaders. Just remember even their ultra right wing PM Vajpai used to wear Munshi-style dhoti. Had a Pakistani PM ever worn that short skirt, he would be kicked out of PM house the next day.

Most of the Chinese are industrious people. Think Silk, think China for the last 1000 years. So they like factory foreman type leaders.

Pakistani politicians have to evolve and become more like strong military types. Right now they copy Bharati Munshis, and this leads to their failure.

Re: Gen. Fazle Haq Marhoom - the biggest lobbyist for FATA development

Are you saying the "democrats" are all talk?

Re: Gen. Fazle Haq Marhoom - the biggest lobbyist for FATA development

What I'm saying is that due to lack of democratic institutions in Pakistan, nothing can be accomplished for the common good of people unless a leader has vested interest in helping people of his area. Obviously, certain communities are deprived of this advantage.

antiobl, we have already seen the wonders of the "martial" people of Pakistan. Time for "munshis".

Re: Gen. Fazle Haq Marhoom - the biggest lobbyist for FATA development

That statement is true for democracies such as the USA and UK. Even with centuries old democracies, leaders bring money to their own areas. Wish you had studied and traveled enough to know it.

Oh Baboo Raam! Thanks to Martial people, my community of Urdu People has survived nay "thrived" in Pakistan. Munshi-style politics has resulted in army rule. The day we get strong men (instead of bumbling idiots) in politics, who favor open and free market, you won't see military rule.

Re: Gen. Fazle Haq Marhoom - the biggest lobbyist for FATA development

Considering your past statements, that comment is hilarious! :cb:

Re: Gen. Fazle Haq Marhoom - the biggest lobbyist for FATA development

You have anything to say about the thread or
just being an old mai from the village? What else can you expect from Kabulis gotten high on Kommi-ism.

You should know something about Gen. Fazle Haq if you really have been to FATA.

Re: Gen. Fazle Haq Marhoom - the biggest lobbyist for FATA development

We should appoint a Pushtoon general as a first governor of Khattak province. I bet he will be able to develop the area just like Gen. Fazle Haq.
