blazing emerald eyes, mesmerizing shades of green,
raging with courage, like venom pouring out.
and then he blinked, when he caught my eye.
now his eyes were the delicate of a sapphire stone,
dancing with curiosity, like sunlight in the forest.
obsidian black was the hollow answer he found
never taking his eyes off of mine.
