Since this ferocious barbarity by Israel is pretty much an annual event which works like an additional bonus message to round up year long daily dehumanisation of Palestinians. Any other part of the world would've been nuked by USA if the country in question had done quarter of what Israel's been doing to Palestinians. I'm at stage where I am not even surprised by imperialist hypocrisy of the West. But what really disgusts me is the criminal silence and the sheer lack of action from the Muslims world, in particular the Arab world. The death toll is spiralling, and where is the damned Arab League? Where is Saudi Arabia - The custodian of Islam, the caretaker of Muslims? Innocent children, young men, women, elderly, fathers, brothers, sons are dying in the month of Ramdan, people are without food and shelter and not a single Arab League conference has taken place?
Arabs and their sheer incompetency is part of the reason why Palestinians are in this bloody mess. Shame on the Arab world.

i get that..............and for years i have been writing similar notes on every forum and also telling the same to my jew friends but it is not saving my innocent sisters and kids in Palestinians from being slaughtered. Yes we shd keep condemning Israeli brutality but wha about hamas role in brining this hell to their people?

when hamas knows that there is no one to help them, they have no power why do they create situations which will bring hell?
you guys can go back and find any other reason but even independent observer including al jazerra admits that this current tension started when 3 young innocent Israeli boys were slaughtered
so what shd have hamas done? they shd have immediately condemned the incidence and announced that they will find the culprits and bring them to justice...
but what hamas did? they declared boys' murderers heros, did not condemn the incidence at all, put nasty cartoons and basically used the situation to escalate the tension fully knowing how much agony it will bring to their own people
Hamas has been doing this for a very long time...it simply suits their agenda. Peace will never work for them.

start telling me israeli reaction is disproportional (hell it is so obvious and we know how brutal israel regime is)

i know all of that very well...actually been to gaza as part of a water/wastewater testament plant project under world bank funding in early 2000s and know the ground situation very well...
and i am telling you that it is hamas strategy to create tension every few years so that israel reacts so brutally and disproportionally , kills hundreds of innocent Palestinians so that hamas can get more sympathies of Palestinian public and of international community. Peace simply does not suit hamas
My question for all of you is....other than condemning Israelis and writing long emotional notes, how come none of you have thought of any other solution that will actually save lives of poor Palestinians?

All the main Muslim countries as you have witnessed, from Egypt to the majority of the Middle East to Pakistan, have been effectively neutralized in the past several years for the benefit of the holy cow. They have all been cleverly embroiled in their respective civil wars and turmoils. No wonder there is no response. They are all too busy dealing with their problems.

No reaction from big daddy, enough massacre has not been carried out by the terrorist state, once they are done with killing a few thousand Palestinians they will phone big daddy and he will come into action and ask for cease fire.

I kind of agree with PD's logic that if Hamas is not in a position to protect Palestinians they should not provoke the Israelis as well which only brings misery for their compatriots. If some one messes with a wild animal who would be considered responsible for the consequences?

You want me to comment on Hamas? I think it's stupid and pointless to attack a fascist apartheid state armed to teeth by Western powers, supported by rich and powerful lobbies, and protected by international courts, with home-made firecrackers. Israel is an extension of America' armed intervention in the Middle East, their every barbarous act and brutality against humanity will get a free pass and outright support. Who does Hamas think it is and what chances do they have defeating their nuclear armed invaders. Of course I admit every stupidity, wrong doing and weakness of Hamas. But forgive me for saying that none of that gives Israel to launch absolutely barbarous collective punishment, in case anyone fancies defending that, it is listed as war crime under the Genva convection. Will Israel be punished for horrendous war crimes ever?
Anyone who wants to talk about peace should start off by condemning the disgusting imbalance of power that exists and is repeatedly abused.
By the way, a young innocent Palestinian boy was abducted, tortured, stabbed and burned alive by Israeli teens in a morbid racially motivated revenge attack. Along with five other similar cases, plus more than 400 Palestinians arrested over some alleged link with the murder. But still it is Israel that stands corrected to unleash barbaric collective punishment and kill innocent people in hundreds over the murder of three Israeli teens?
I do not see Hamas as a solution, and this is why I believe the Muslim countries, especially Saudi Arabia to genuinely and sincerely work for a long term solution and come to Palestinians rescue for the sake of humanity.

well, thx for at least acknowledging that in addition to zionist, hamas is also a terrorist organization. Believe me this is a big thing that you acknowledge it. Some of you ask me what is my solution and some are wondering what is wrong with hamas..afterall they are only fighting for their homeland
first i am glad that the discussion is finally moving towards a more actionable mode vs posting those i-hate-you-israel notes which every muslim is so fond of doing...and then go back to eating lavish dinner, have sex and sleep
Now let me reflect on what is terribly wrong with hamas strategy...Here is what Hamas strategy is. They believe that that time is on their side. and therefore they believe in creating tension and situations that lead to brutal Israel intervention into gaza.
By doing so, Hamas wants to demonstrate to worldwide public opinion again and again that the Palestinians have been suffering by the Israelis living out their days in horrible conditions where they are denied basic rights.
they also keep on firing those rockets so that it causes enough unrest in Israeli public and make then psychologically tried and afraid of this unending war
Hamas hopes that finally....yes finally somehow under global public pressure, under Israeli public's desire to end this war, and under arab/turkish pressure, Israel and his daddy USA will either pull back from the West Bank, thereby allowing the establishment of a fully independent Palestinian state, or will grant full political rights within Israel to the Palestinian people — a move that would turn Israel into a binational state.
and I am saying with full conviction that neither has any chance of happening. Hamas and before hamas PLO has tried it for over 60 years and they have been wrong and will simply bring more and more agony to its people. Arafat finallt realized it and tried to chnage the course but hamas, hazb allah destroyed him because they dont want to give any chance to peace..obviously zionst elements dont want peace either but we know what zionists want. i am reflecting upon hamas.
