Well if Nikah is a contract between two people, Islam should be more tolerant with drawing a contract between man-man/woman-woman. Does it say anywhere that the contract is between man and woman?

Nika means little boy. Yes, it can be between two men. When a Mullahs says that he is going to do a Nikah, you should take his word for it.

yeah they can do Nikkah all they want....will not be recognized by Islam/muslims. They can live their life the way they want to... One day we all have to answer to Allah.

In the west homosexual 'Nikaah's' do happen, not officially of course but gay and lesbian people do 'marry' just for the heck of it.
I know two Cathlic lesbians who found a priest to carry out the ceremony.
I don't see the point because the only reason I'd marry a girl is so that my relationship is approved by the Lord and I'm not sinning when I'm doing her but with a guy it's a going to be sin either way, and even apostasy if you 'marry' him coz you're messing religion about.
Marriage is a religious practice, in Non-Muslim countries where it's legal they can do the 'common law relationship' thing or some other secular type bond if they really feel they must show commitment to each other.

Just because you believe you can't be gay and a Muslim doesn't mean a person can't be gay and 'religous'.
And marriage should be more than God's permission to 'do her'. It should represent a loving union with a lifetime commitment of caring, sharing and love. At least the gay people I know who want to marry have those loftier goals in mind and not just a excuse to have sex.

That’s is exactly why a GAY Guy is a Girls Best Friend!!!!!. The amount of passion and true grit a Gay guy have for one another, I know some and to be honest they are very good bunch of people when together having a laugh, The thought of "Errrrrr they are gay" goes completely.

i dont understand why gays and lesbians want marriage certificates....
in the west, adultery isnt considered a sin, so who cares if u r doing a man or a woman....
in Islam, adultery is sin, and so is homosexuality....
so if u want to be a homosexual, and u r already doing haraam, why worry about nikaah....

Islam(or any other religion) does not allow this “un-natural” life style. So the question of Nikah is invalid.
