I dont get it.. why we get soo hot over religion... like it is..religion in the first place was created to give hope and something to always put your faith in...
As for God not allowing it..I dont think ... God would hav created anything/feelings he didnt wanted to work or to reach to their goal..
The problem with current religious scenarios being that God ..disciples...paigambers.. Avatars.. ab.. ni hote.. bcz we have evolved enough..and religions have stagnated to the last time an avatar/paigamber preached...
So..its not whether... God allows it or not.. cause if he created it..he certainly wants it.. the problem is no amendment has been done to the religious booksGeeta/quran(and I respect quran by all means, man we practically go to ajmer shrif twice a year..so noone gets hot..okey) for a very long time...so they are not Prasangik(I dont know english word)..
gay marriage..rights granted..definately a good thing.. I believe god agrees with it too.. the basic problem is we dont have anybody to carry his voice to us..so we misinterpret religion always...
because science has made us this way that maybe we will never accept another avatar ..but it doesnt mean we dont hear him...
all..left now is..to give rights that are basic..without bringing religion in between..
The question is not what will they try next. For all they are tried so far is to get equal rights.
The real question is what will those who are comfortable denying equal rights to a segment of society try next.
Some posts in this thread offer a clue or two.
Exhibit A. This post.
Exhibit B. Desis doing “bhangra” on this ruling … Desis those who celebrate this ruling are simply following the mantra “do unto others what you would have them do unto you”.
The only controversies re Starbucks
1) Drive throughs with the associated emissions
2) The local Starbucks does not recycle
3) They double cup and provide sleeve - I decline the 2nd cup and sleeve.
