Re: Gay in Pakistan
if we stop being so judgemental, it becomes easier to empathize and understand where other people are coming from.

No offense, but I kind of find it strange when people find comfort in faith when very faith condemns them for being who they're (reminds me of untouchables in India). Also, if the creator condemns people, like you, for being who you're than why did he made you that way? Something doesn't add up.
Hmm well God also made some people Kafir (i.e. they are born in places w.o faith) Yet they have the challenge of finding the right path and some people are born with faith and they have an easier path. In the same way some people have a more difficult challenge to fulfil God's will. I don't think this is inconsistant with faith to find comfort in a faith, even if that faith condems their particular situation.
PS. I do not support new-age sects such as FatihaOrg QueerMuslims etc. who say gay sex is allowed in Islam and have their own gay Mosques and gay-Nikaahs, that is Kuffr.
Its true Gay sex is absolutely prohibited in Islam, but being gay or having gay feelings is something that happens to a person it just is, its what someone does with the knowledge that matters.

Let me put in simple question. If God hates gays so much than why did he made gay people? And, don't tell me that this is a test or challenge b/c most religious people do not believe in homosexuality...so there is no question of this being a test. Blindness or other physical disabilities can be consider test, but not homosexuality (from religious pov) b/c God hate gays, but he doesn't hate blind. See the diff.?
how come gay guys are so good looking.... and gay women...are not?
as both try to be opposite sex! gay males try to be on faminine side and take care of them as women. and gay girls like to be guys and try to be men and rough looks etc. as a result you get this! ;)

There's a difference between being gay and having gay-sex.
God doesn't hate people with gay feelings, that's what I want ignorant Mullahs who are born and grow up in Madrassahs and don't know nothing about anything to understand.
God condemns any men who have sex with other men, that includes straight men who do it (because any hole is a goal to them) and you'll find plenty in the Islamic world, especially Pakistan (bachey-baazi/londay-baazi). Most guys in Pakistan who have gay-sex are straight and just making do.
God also condemns straight people who do adultery and fornication, but he doesn't hate them if they don't act on their feelings/desires.
Some ppl r also said to be born with a tendency to murder, paedophilia, beastality, rape, do-drugs... But that's no excuse to go ahead and do those things.
God sent the Quran to be Hidayah (Guidance) and Furqan (Criterion)... We're not meant to live a hedonistic lifestyle, we need guidance to live our lives proper.
Anyway, I don't wanna argue, I'm not in the mood, to you your way and to me mine... I personally like Allah and I'd be more lost and lonely without the little bit of faith I have in my life.
