I used to have a gay friend a few years ago before I moved.
Also, my fiance has a gay friend that I know quite well. They were classmates from elementary school and all the other guys in his friends circle (also guys my fiance grew up with and consider his close friends) are all friends with this guy. They dont really care that he's gay, tbh. They only get slightly weirded out if he's vocal about a crush he has but for the most part, no one except his close set of friends know he's gay anyway. I think it's rather sweet that he felt comfortable enough coming out of the closet to his circle of best friends knowing they'd understand.

There isn't any mention in the Quran about the severe azaab and anger of Allah (swt) on people who drink alcohol. So can't be compared with homosexuality.
