The hereditary link of homosexuality has long been established, but scientists knew it was not a strictly genetic link, because there are many pairs of identical twins who have differing sexualities. Scientists from the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis say homosexuality seems to have an epigenetic, not a genetic link.
Long thought to have some sort of hereditary link, a group of scientists suggested Tuesday that homosexuality is linked to epi-marks — extra layers of information that control how certain genes are expressed. These epi-marks are usually, but not always, “erased” between generations. In homosexuals, these epi-marks aren’t erased — they’re passed from father-to-daughter or mother-to-son, explains William Rice, an evolutionary biologist at the University of California Santa Barbara and lead author of the study.
but it is a good question. for thousands of years people worshipping ruthless gods have attempted to cure trendy homosaxers. no one has been cured even by the biggest of chanters and recanters. so one has to ask - what are they doing the wrong here?
It is not ‘curable’ because it is not viewed as a disease by majority of psychiatrists and health organizations around the world.. As per American psychology association, Royal college of psychiatrists UK, and majority of leading world health organization, have not authorized nor do they recommend any ‘treatment’ or therapy to convert someone to heterosexuality. Therefore there is no ‘cure’ which is proven to work as per modern medicine as of right now.

That reminds me of that episode of Seinfeld when Elaine successfully converted her gay bf to straight (she tought) but as soon as he meets another guy, he switches back
I’ll try to post it later but the moral is, no you cant convert or ‘cure’ just like that. Explaining them in religious way if they understand is something different.

and what if it is scientifically established (do some research on google) that they are genetically bound to have interest in same sex and that is how their DNA has been programmed…what then? just like i have been programmed to enjoy women’s company, they enjoy something else. did it ever occur to you that they are born with this genetically disturbed sexual code before you delivered this long sermon miss biryani?
now those who have normal sexual behavior but they get involve in sexual activities with boys, those shd be punished as hard as possible
Apologies friend, I dont mean to demean anyone. All creation is Allah’s creation and its a test for many of us. But there is a clear message from Allah that His anger was invoked by a nation purely for this one act. There is nothing else that matters to me after knowing this.
I take Gays around me , a form of fitna, just like how we have black magic, card reading and what not.. Allah created these variations to test our imaan .. helping them for the sake of humanity is all some of us can do, nothing more really. At the end of the day they are hurting us , man kind, by doing something which stops the production of humans, how and why should we encourage that?
If its a scientifically proven DNA error then it should be treated as an illness and science should be working hard to find a solution for it.
