dude hareem, if a hijra is someone who is castrated, how is it something that Allah can give? castration is when someone lops off someone's balls. one is not born castrated. additionally, castration doesn't make someone feminine or gay as hijras are. it just makes the person a permanent boy in a lot of ways - voice, facial hair, muscle development etc. hijras are nothing like true castrated eunuchs.

I still stand correct. When they say, "Allah tumeh hijra de" means someone who's not able to reproduce. And I never said all hijras are cross-dressers but it's true that a man with womanly attributes would be considered hijra or hijra like regardless of being or not being impotent. Begum Nawazish is a bi but people call him hijra coz of his dressing up as a woman.

I fail to understand why people don’t understand that people ARE born GAY! I saw this documentry in my psychology class a year ago.
Also another documentry I came across that tells the biological differences in Identical twins and how one can be gay(BORN)
As far as i know islamically, being gay is not haram, its having gay relationships that is haraam.

Not all gays act like women, there are some very masculine gays and similarly there are some very feminine lesbs. And not all the little girls playing with cars and guns, or boys playing with dolls turn out to be homosexuals.

OBV. this vid is giving an example of a child who CLEARLY shows ALL signs of being Interested in being or thinking that he is the opposite gender.and it is just one example andone side of homosexuality, there are others aswell as you said. How would you explain that?
Btw I myself have seen a child who was as young as 4 and was into girl stuff to the extent that it was not normal. Have not been in touch with the family for a while, but the family clearly knew that something is not normal.

Psychologists suggest if you force a little boy not to play with girly stuff when he really wants to, it is more likely that he will turn out to be a cross-dresser but predicting his sexual orientation at a young age (I guess depends on child's level of maturity but lets say before the age of 10) is impossible.

Sex vs gender theories are completely different from homosexuality!!! You are blatantly confusing the two and making up stuff. And no people are NOT born gay, last time I asked a psychology professor who is member of a prestigious psychology society in UK, there's a massive research going on regarding this issue for sometime. And yes it'll shake the foundation of this earth the day scientists come out and say yes you can be born gay! It might literally result in end of religion in many parts of the world, if not all. Meaning the whole world will know about it. It'll be an established fact backed by detailed evidence. we won't need to nit pick half baked documentaries to make exaggerated claims from tiny grey areas.

Not sure if you believe in coincidences, but in another thread just 20 min ago, I had used the phrase "Every Tom, Akbar and Hari". So seeing your message gave me a jolt.
IMHO, having an open mind and doing research is a good thing. We are not all Einsteins. Just because each of us cant find a cure to Aids should not prevent us from always trying to learn and better ourselves.
