With the appointment of this openly gay cleric Jeffrey John, I wonder how he will approach the matter of Sodom and Gomorrah and Lot :as:? How will a twelve year old who knows this man to be gay and this 12 year old attends one of his sermons, how will it affect him?
such issues r supposed to be brought up in GENERAL....
there is nothing religion about this topic....
its not like christianity supports such thing or that all bishops r such....
will cause a useless debate and mud-slinging at religions for nothing....
I don't think he was appointed. While church ministers in England were willing to support him, his forthcoming appointment caused some the foreign subsidiaries of the Anglican Church to threaten to leave the Church and form new sects.
To prevent the break-up of the Anglican church, John Jeffrey withdrew his candidacy for the post.
The liberal priests in England are now screaming that the "Christian Taliban" is hijacking Christianity ;)
