Mumbai: Dressed in a striking red pleated silk mini by Jenny Packham, Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan makes a bold impression as the latest covergirl of Vogue magazine.
Famous for maintaining a safe distance from her superstar husband’s filmy lifestyle, Gauri made a rare exception by participating in the shoot, which was conducted at her residence Mannat in Mumbai.
Few may be aware that Gauri was so averse to living the filmy life that she prayed for Shah Rukh’s first film to bomb at the box office so the couple could move back to Delhi.
Destiny, of course, had other plans. And if Mumbai it had to be, then it was a life on her own terms. Glimpses of that life are in full display in the new issue of the magazine.

Being a muslim if her husband doesn't mind anything which is forbidden in the religion how can we point fingers at her and expect her to wear full clothes when her religion doesn't ask for covering up like islam does?

shes not a muslim. she hasn't converted, and i saw her interview on Koffee with Karan where she said that her son follows Islam like his father. Their daughter Suhana, however, does not. So one of their kids is Muslim, while the other is Hindu. cute lol

Yeah well he is not even a Namazi forget about praying five times a day - but we shouldnt be judging since we ourselves dont know how deep in the water we are Allah knows everything and he can like or dislike anything a person does...people who pray five times a day actually think its their priority to critisize others while Allah dislikes that...sure its wrong according to islam whatever he does, did will do but Allah is watching him just like he is watching the rest of us.

I won’t say publically but my husband isnt wearing a red mini in public na - so it wouldn’t make a difference.
and not that Im judgemental (mayebe mental) but he’s a public figure. His wife hasn’t converted when islam says she has to in order to be married to him.
and its not about judging him - it was a detail adding to the conversation.

Wow! this doesn't look like the same Gauri from a few years back - she looked old and wrinkly, definately very different from her wedding pics. I guess she wants her limelight too.

I don't mind the length of the dress, but it's cut, style, and fabric is not flattering. It looks like it's about to fall off.
