The crude price per barrel is hovering around $40 while retail gas prices are going up ($1.77 per gallon, in Dallas TX), why?

if you look at this chart of last 5 yrs in dallas area, this seems ok to me

Oil is $35 per barrel while gas is still $1.75 :ASA:

what you want free? that is not even in Saudi/Iran ...

Over a Million additional people not driving their cars/trucks to work anymore just in the last year alone..............dropped demand for Oil!

Retail prices should reflect oil prices. In Dec when crude oil was around $35 retail gas was around $1.65 :aq:
