its damned 45/litre - thats USD 3.1/gallon,
most cars here run on methane compressed to 3000 psi - it gives a relief of about 35% in travelling expenses.

i think saudi stopped it after the US media spread tales that free oil for pak was in exchange for nuclear knowhow.

AishaA, that was the case till July last year, thanks to some real Pakistanis this is not the case now. It was known as the $2 billion Annual Oil grant.
Pakistan received oil from the Saudi govt worth $2 billion annually free of cost starting in December 1998 as a goodwill gesture, since Pakistan was slammed with sanctions for becoming a nuclear power. But now Pakistan has to pay upfront for any such oil from Saudi arabia.
The Saudi stopped the grant due to some IMF and World bank issues.
