Has anyone heard about this – do you think it is true? And is this the future for Pakistan if we can’t kick the Taliban out?

In the second mass poisoning of female students in a month, nearly 50 teenagers are in hospital after a mystery gas attack at a girls' school in Afghanistan. Some 46 girls were being treated in hospital, and a few were still receiving oxygen, but none were in a life-threatening state..."
Re: Gas attacks on girl’s schools in Afghanistan??
I read an article which talked about Taliban using Phosphorus but then it also mentioned that US/NATO uses phosphorus to create smoke screen while battling Talibans. I doubt Taliban know Phosphorus’s symbol and how it can be extracted/used

Funny how they never even thought about doing this when they were in power, yet somehow after the invasion, you see more and more reports of this type of activity.

Funny indeed.
ofcourse that might have to do with the fact that girls schools were closed when they were in power.
I just don't know whether to believe this story or not. Remember the story about Kuwaiti babies being thrown out of incubators by the evil Iraqis? Ever seen "Wag the Dog"? And yet, we are talking about a part of the world where acid is thrown in the faces of women and girls. So gassing one's own -- or one's enemy's -- people is certainly not out of the realm of possibility.
Does anyone know these gassing incidents to be true?
Re: Gas attacks on girl's schools in Afghanistan??
^perhaps its better for you to not delve in these matters if your likely to get upset
the US army is a known user of phosphorus gas. this gas is used to burn alive people in the vacinity of its release. it is also a banned weapon. the US has managed to get around these rules and possible war crimes charges by claiming they use it as a smokescreen and to illuminate targets.
in these recent incidents many civillians have been hurt/killed by this gas, implicating the US as possible war criminals. now enter the timely declassification of intelligence relating to the taliban possessing the gas - a capability not previously known and thought of as highly unlikely even after this declassification. effectively this exonerates the US of war crime charges.
the gas IS used, its up to you to decide who has used it in which incidence.
