to khwaab apni aankhon ke
phir kahaa se paonga…
tujh ko dekhne se jo
aankh mein diye ki loo
zindgi jagaati hai
woh kaha se laaonga…
ke yeh to tuu bi mere dost
phir se laa nahi sakta
gar tuu laut be aae…

gar tuu laut be aae
to aas le ke mat aana
ab aankhein khuskh hain meri…
ke in mein jitne badal teh
bars rahe teh barsoon se
khatam ho chuke ab to…
ab to dil ki basti mein
sawan phir na ae ga
gar tuu laut bi aae to…

gar tuu laut bi aae to
to khushk zard patton par
be iradaa qadmoo par
hum ne jo guzaari thi
woh shaam sath le anaa…
akeli sarhak ke pairh pe
kaanpte haathon pe jab
naam mera likha tha
woh naam sath le anaa
gar tuu laut bi aae to…

aur jo lautna hi hai…
to guzre kal ko aa ja tuu
tujh se chootne ke waqt
pahla samay jo guzra tha
us ik pall ko aa ja tuu…
par itna maan lena tuu
bass itna jaan lena tuu
yaar ab nahi hoga
piyar ab nahi hoga
gar tuu laut be aae to…!!"
