I moved from Michigan last year and really really miss Lebonese food there. I have tried some middle eastern restaurants here in Dallas and they are not even close the restaurants in Michigan, probably because the ones they have here are not lebonese.
Most lebonese restaurants serve garlic sauce with the apetizers and food and most of their pita sandwiches are filled with lotsa (yummy) garlic sauce. I tried to make the garlic sauce at home and I had to through it away. I expected the sauce when I tried the restaurants here and I asked about it and girl asked me how to make it? I told her she didn’t wanna make like I do. lol. Anyone know how they make it in lebonese restaurants?
The red chilli garlic sauce? On my last trip to Dallas area, I ate at a restaurant in Richardson...it was lebanese I believe. It's called Grand Cafe. Have you eaten there?
