Garlic Paste

I’m not sure if y’all have had this delicacy but i enjoy it with pita bread an roasted meat. I was wondering if someone could help me find the recipie for it. I’m pretty sure that its not just garlic in it. Its a middle eastern condiment.

While we are on the topic of condiments, do you guys know what's that ranch type of raita (it's white) that's given with food at Afghani restaurants? If anyone knows how to make that, please do share. I love that stuff!

Re: Garlic Paste

no-frills at eglinton and mavis, aisle 6

Sehar, Afghani Raita consists of very finely shredded Kheera (cucumber), black pepper, a pinch of salt and ofcourse yougurt.

Put the yogurt in a bowl. Beat gently with a fork or whisk until smooth and creamy. Now add all the other ingredients. Beat to mix. Cover and chill until needed..
