if people have the same mentality as PM or zobia, yes they could have gotten away with this, and probably still will. apparently no one of good character is expected to report such a crime. look at how much crap is being slung their way already for doing so.

If the statements are true, its a heinous crime and the culprits should be prosecuted and hopefully sent to jail for life. But this reminded me of something from the past.
Guys in Lahore 'proudly' claimed that they take girls to guest houses, usually class mates. Garden town has lots of them (guest houses!). I am talking about 2 years ago. It could be an issue that 'video taping' is what made the girl panic.
But again, if this is all true, a severe punishment would deter such future incidents.

but what girl did is not taking safety precautions, cuz no matter what she cant soley relate herself as a Pakistan. she has a higher edge over them no matter what cuz she is a britisher.

If things are happening with consent of the parties involed then who the hell cares.........This case is totally different, unless you believe that the girl agreed to whatever happened to her.

this story really pisses me off. what pisses me off even more is that some people on this thread saying that the girl could have prevented this. I mean are you serious? Even if she was not raped and just molested by gang of men it is still very depressing and I think even then men who were involved should be castrated.

and if her parents were in Pakistan, and some sounding family then they wouldn't lodge an FIR or alteast wouldn't make it a news. (cuz your own Khandan abandons you).
