btw is ur card unlocked to 6970.also my processar is just 3.7 ghz with turbo boost

yeh my GPU is unlocked to full 6970 shadder units plus 6970 Frequencies and I have overclocked them to : GPU-950 MHz, Memory 1450MHz
and my CPU is overclocked too. How hot does your GPU gets ? mine easily climbs 80plus while playing Call of duty, overclocked or not.

Looking at your score. I think it can go beyond 6000 mark if you overclock it and why didnt you overclock your CPU yet ?

mine already comes factory overclocked

core:800 mhz,memory:2000 mhz,shader 1600 mhz compare to default,core 732,memory 1900,shader 1464

can make core to 860 mhz i guess

trying to overclock cpu unsucessful bsod.have to check where i have done wrong
started with 4ghz vcore at 1.12v

85 c max

with air conditioner on 79 c

power connectors comes similar to 6970 8 pin and a 6 pin,reference 570 gtx comes with normal two 6pin connectors

best way to over clock is dont mess with the voltage in the beginning. Just change the CPU ratio to 40. If it runs stable, increase the CPU ratio by 1 or 2 and continue increasing till it boots without crashing.

Here is my heaven score. This benchmark is not very AMD GPU friendly.
MAXed settings at 1080p

my furmark went upto 75c. Fullscreen 1080p test. MAX fps 207
idles at 45-50c

Sure, no worries.
Overclocking is tricky. It is different with each CPU/Motherboard setup but still I will give it a shot.

I need to write an article on "How to overclock non-k Sandybridge" anyways because ppl on many forums are still confused about how I overclocked mine.

done for 1 hour and 14 mins 0 errors

tried 4.8ghz with 1.35 windows loads up bsod.again did it in auto

running prime 95.vcore 1.44-1.456

temp 77-80 with out AC
