Re: Games for co ed baby shower
Change the Baby - Double Duty
This game is played by pairs. Each pair stands side by side with one person using only the right hand and the other person using only the left hand. Dress a baby doll with diaper (preferably with pins, bodysuit, shirt, socks, and pants - you can even have them tie shoes if you're up to a challenge!
Baby Feet
All that laundry we have all done in our lives certainly pay off in this baby shower game!
Preparation for this baby shower game idea: Before the shower, buy 10 - 12 pairs of baby socks (0 - 6 months). Buy different colors & patterns.
How to play this baby shower game*:* During the shower, separate all the socks and mix them up in one big pile in the middle of the room. Then, one at a time, have each guest pair up as many pairs of socks as they can in 15 seconds - or time each guest to see how long it takes them to pair up all of the socks. The one with the most matching pairs or the best time is the champion!
Pregnant Marathon
No, this isn't a marathon race for expecting mothers, and it is A LOT more fun than running a marathon! Probably best to do this game outside.
Preparation for this baby shower game idea*:* Before the shower, get a backpack and a 10 or 20 pound weight. Put the weight in the backpack and zip it up. Then, set up the race course.
How to play this baby shower game: During the shower, have the guests put the backpack on backwards so the backpack and weight are on the front of the person. Now, Get ready, Get set, GO! Time each guest as they run the course for 5 laps (or however many laps you deem appropriate, maybe 2 or 3?) A bottle of gatorade and/or powerbar for the winner!
Variation: Another variation of this baby shower game idea is to prepare 2 backpacks with weights and have a relay race. Form 2 teams and give one backpack to each team. Each guest must run the course and then pass the backpack off to the next teammate who must put it on backwards and run a lap, & pass it off to the next person in line until the whole team is done.

How Prego Can You GO!!**
Preparation for this baby shower game idea: Before the shower, buy about 200 medium-sized balloons. Then, either borrow or buy 4-5 XXL shirts and 4-5 pairs of XXL pants (you will need one shirt and 1 pant for each team, so if you only have 2 or 3 teams just by 2 or 3 pairs of clothing).
How to play this baby shower game: During the shower, divide the guests into teams of 4 or 5 people. Have each team choose one team member who is going to be "pregnant". Then give each team one large shirt and one pairs of large pants, and about 50 balloons. When you say "Go!" the "pregnant" team member of each team will put the shirt and pants on as quick as they can, while their teammates start to blow up the balloons. When the "pregnant" one is "dressed", teammates will begin stuffing the inflated balloons as fast as they can into the shirt and pants of the "pregnant" one. After 3 minutes, everyone must stop stuffing balloons. The winning team is the one that has the MOST "pregnant" teammember (the one with the most stuffed inflated balloons). Don't pull the balloons out to count, though! The fun has just started! The best (and most hilarious) way to count the balloons is to get a long pin or needle and pop the balloons, one by one while everyone is watching. This can be such a riot! You can pop all the baloons in the pants first and then have a very "pregnant" and/or well developed mommy! This game gets everyone involved, and laughing.
Baby Triathalon
Preparation for this baby shower game idea: Before the shower, get a clothes-line, a baby doll, 20-30 various baby clothes items (e.g. onesies, socks, shirts, cloth diapers, towels, baby blankets, etc.) and enough clothes-pins to hang everything on the clothes-line. About 1 or 2 days before the shower, hang the clothes-line up in the room (or outside) where you are having the shower.
How to play this baby shower game: During the shower, bring out the basket of baby clothes and set by the clothes line. Each guest gets a turn to see how many items she (or he) can hang from the line, while at the same time holding the baby doll, and have a phone to her (or his) ear. Give each guest 1 minute to perform the "triathalon" and have them count how many items they hang. Whoever hangs the most items, without dropping the phone or baby is the Mother Triathalete!!
**Don't break the water!
**This is an outdoor game that would work great for a coed party! Start with an aluminum bucket full of water balloons. Guests need to hold the water balloon between their legs and run from one point to another without breaking their water.
