games for baby shower

Hi guys, I need some help making games for a baby shower. Can you help me think of titles of movies that mention baby in them, or songs that have baby in the title or chorus [doesnt have to be little child “baby”, just as long as it says baby]

Thanks!

Re: games for baby shower

ooh we had this one at my shower. the person who came up with the most baby-titled songs won. we had a tie breaker so the girls had to sing their baby song to win. it was so funny!

there is a huge list here of songs with the word “baby” in the title- Yahoo Search - Web Search

another fun game - although kind of gross - was making contestants drink 4 oz of formula. the person who drank it all first won.

also the baby food tasting game is also fun. pass around jars of baby food, one at a time, with the labels covered. everyone gets their own spoon to taste it with. then they have to write down on a piece of paper which flavour which jar of baby food was. the person with the most correct guesses wins.

oh, also, how about having a bunch of rubber duckies - the small bath toys you can get from anywhere - and a whole supply of glitter pens and markers. everyone gets to decorate and design a ducky. the mom to be will choose the cutest ducky. you’ll be amazed at how creative people can get!

Re: games for baby shower

okay so this is gross but almost every baby shower I have been to play this game. So you take various chocolate candy bars, melt them and mesh them (so you can't tell what candy bar it is anymore) and put each candy bar into a different baby diaper ...........ya I know:/ The person/team that guesses the right candy bar the fastest wins. LOL everyone has a ball with this one

Also another classic is having guests estimate the size of the mother-to-be's belly with yarn. Whoever is the closest wins.

Other baby shower games:

  1. Have people identify baby food flavors (I recommend only getting 1-2 that are blends of multiple flavors; also avoid flavors with meat in them).

  2. Drinking from a bottle race. Put juice in newborn baby bottles (you can find cheap Gerber ones at most grocery stores). Have contestants drink. The first one finished wins! (This is surprisingly difficult)

  3. Decorating onesies. My favorite baby shower activity. I used all of my daughter's decorated onesies and it was nice to think about who made them for her. Use fabric markers instead of that puffy paint stuff (it's too sticky and uncomfortable).

  4. Not a game but you could serve food that is "baby" themed: sliders, mini cakes, mini quiches, a roasted veggie medley with baby potatoes, baby carrots, baby peas, baby mushrooms, baby corn, etc, etc.

  5. Estimating the circumference of the mommy's belly by cutting yarn of the right length. Make sure to make a correct one first by measuring around the mommy before guests arrive.
