Ok this thread for the hardcore gamers here! Ones who have have no life so to speak 
I am not one due to work etc but I love games whether be on the PS or the PC.
These are the latest ones I got, and my input on them. Fell free to add yours as well on any new ones or the ones that are coming out.
PS3
**Fight Night Round 4
**Multi-player- Awesome game. The analog is the ONLY legitimiate way of playing it imo, the thumb gets sore after a while. Multiplayer i.e. one on one without online is super though I must admit losing to my brother round after round doesn’t help and that too every fighter I take ends up getting either knocked out, TK’od or royally whooped over 12 rounds 
Online- Is fun too. Though as expected some people are crazily good and most of the time I don’t last past 6 rounds either way. Lags bigtime sometimes and that is irritating. People on mic start abusing and swearing as soon as they’re losing
Single Player- The single player career mode is more fun imo, the titles are worthless but the harder opponents are really testing, I got to 24-0 and it ended up being 26-6.
Graphics- Excellent, the best I’ve ever seen bar Call of Duty.
Fighters- I’d liked if they would have added more…as what happens in online is people will pick certain ones and unless a person knows very good technique it becomes insane and too hard to win.
Verdict- Any boxing fan must have it.
Call of Duty- **Modern Warfare 2
**Multi-player- One on One without online is excellent too. As in the previous game I played it with my brother and as again I got my arse handed back to me. Obviously the screens are split and it’d be easy to cheat but its not as a person is totally focused on their own screen. Coughs. Yes I’ve cheated and still got beaten.
Online- Is superb. And if a person is good its so much fun. It took me time but I got pretty good at it, i.e. 2nd or 3rd on most maps except a few. The key here is to stay put in 2-3 buildings and roam around a certain area for others to come to us and then pick them off. Or pick a spot where you avoid toe-to-toe fighting as I wasn’t good at that, hence sniper or just machine gunning from a distance!
Single Player- The single player is okay, but frankly I don’t know I got bored after a while esp without the online bit
Graphics- Excellent, the best I’ve ever seen in a game to date.
Verdict- Must have, though the new version has just come out and I haven’t played that, my brother has and he says that that one is the best warfare game he’s ever played.
**FIFA 2011
**Multi-player- Again one-on-one superb and in this newer one I can hold my own against my unfortunate sibling. By holding my own I don’t mean going on winning runs I mean keeping up with him head-to-heads which is a big success for me trust me, as he’s excellent at FIFA too.
Online- Is superb and the game where sour grapes is best used. When people are winning its delibrate time-wasting, if thye;re losing by 2-3 goals with 10 mins to go they’ll leave the game, they’ll keep choosing Barca or Madrid and use two three players, the best way to counter that is to pick Inter or a hard physical team. Or pick a team with pacy wingers. I use Arsenal since I support them too and I just use Walcott, Eboue, Nasri as a three man AMC’s and it works like a charm in counter attacks. Just wait and wait and wait and then counter. If people don’t pick Barca then pick whatever you want and play POSSESION FOOTBALL. Do not let the other team ANYTIME on the ball and you’re guaranteed a win. On the custom tactics bit use very short passing, very high closing down and non-risky passing. That way you’ll have little triangles or players across the pitch always in proximity to pass to. Aim to have 60-65% of the ball and it’ll be a win. Trust me
Single Player- Boring.
Graphics- Excellent too.
Verdict- Must have or you’re not a football fan.

***Football Manager 2010
Multi-player- Excellent, we used to play in the holidays me and brother. He won lots of trophies in 7 years, I won erm 2. Injuries, I found it easy to blame. My simple rule, trust me it works…sometimes…is buy unknown players. For strikers etc look for finishing, strength, composure, pace for stats and you’ll get very decent players. I almost replaced the enitre team but injuries were rampant.
With my brother and me on this the big moments were always when it my team vs his in the league. The stats didn’t favour me but I had some good moments too
Single Player- The single player career mode is excellent, additcing and not be played before exams. Again the basic tactics are close down quick, possesion football, tight marking and attack. Use the ‘pass to feet’ option, short passing and the football is pleasing on the eye. Right now I am struggling with Arsenal on 5th places with half the season gone. My midfield has failed badly. Though my DC’s have been good. Keep the wages down below 100k.
Graphics- 3D is good.
Verdict- Must buy. Your head will spin if its your first time as its a simulation game and I’ve played it since 2004.
The new FM has come out, I’ll buy it soon in the holidays.
