yesss....but I need to do a lot of catching up...I'm one of those ppl who like to sit and watch a series back to back...coz sometimes the suspense is too much!!!

Yes, I'm waiting for series 4! I've just begun reading the first book though, which I'm beginning to think is a bit of waste as the first series covered most of that :D.

^ Read it! There is so much back story regarding what started the original war (where the Targs were defeated) that is missing in the show. All these clues hint at a (suspected) twist which hasn't actually happened yet but fans are pretty convinced it's true. If it doesn't happen I'm gonna lose my sh*t.
As soon as you get to book 2 you'll realize how much stuff they've cut out. Even if you skip book 1 it's definitely worth reading from book 2 onwards.

Me is a huge fan. The TV series is okay, but the books go so much deeper. The beauty of the books is that every time you ead them, you learn something new - it’s like peeling the layers off an onion.
Wish GRRM would hurry up and write book 6! Someone get him on steroids

^I know, right? The last I read on amazon, The Winds of Winter (book 6) is scheduled to be released sometime in 2014. However, as GRRM also said that in 2012 (and again in 2013), I'm a bit skeptical :D
