Re: GAME!!! Guess the picture

fkhan2 bhaiyya I am tapped out of guesses!

Faraz Rafi bhai, 4 of your answers were correct. Your answer # 2 (Colombo) and answer # 6 St. George's Park weren't

The correct answer for # 2 was Sharjah. Some of you might have recognized it otherwise if you look closely you will see Cricketers Benefit Fund Series (CBFS) on one of the stands. Actually you could only see Cricketers Benefit in that picture. But those who have closely followed Sharjah Cricket in 80's and 90's, they know about CBFS.

The correct answer for # 6 was The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. If you have followed South Africa cricket you must have seen Castle Lager logo which is a major sponsor of South African cricket. I put the pavillion end picture hoping that people will be able to distinguish it from other South African grounds.

jagoo bhaioooo aur post karoo koi new picture

Alright so time for a new picutre. Remeber anyone who guesses this one will have to put a new one withing 24 hours to win this round.

So here it is.

Re: GAME!!! Guess the picture

^ Knew it was Andy Lloyd - saw a clip of that ball once.

Here's the blurb from cricinfo about the incident:

*In 1984, Lloyd made his debut after doing well in the ODI series that preceded the Tests. Half-an-hour into his first innings, he ducked into a bouncer from Malcolm Marshall and was led off and taken to hospital, suffering from double vision. He remained there for the rest of the match, and did not play again that season. He was never quite the same again, although he carried on until 1992. He has the distinction of being the only player to open in a Test and never be out.

**Ouch!*

Re: GAME!!! Guess the picture

Yes that is him, i saw the delivery in 94 on some PTV cricket show....saw the picture back in 91 when i got hold of my Maamoun's old collection of cricket magazines from early 80's...good times!
